Job Description

Main Purpose of the job:
  • Supervise, advise and control all the maintenance of parks and gardens throughout the town of Swakopmund; and inform staff on new planned projects.
Key performance areas:
  • Maintain the parks and gardens
  • Control materials, tools and equipment
  • Excute garden plans and designs
  • Transport duties
  • Supervision/Leadership
  • Occupational Health and Safety Management (OHSM)

Job Requirement

Minimum Requirements:
  1. Grade 11/12 Certificate at NQF level: 3 with 20 over five subjects including an E symbol in English
  2. One (1) year certificate in landscaping/Horticulture
  3. Three (3) years horticulture and/or landscaping experience; of which one year should be at supervisory capacity.
  4. valid code BE driver's license.
