Job Description
Main Purpose of the job:
Responsible for enforcement of Road Traffic and Transport Acts and Regulations whilst maintaining safe and effective use of road transportation, in addition preventing crime within the designated vicinity of the district of Swakopmund, if need be and beyond and the investigation thereof and by-laws.

Job Requirement
Minimum Requirements:
Tertiary Qualification:
• Grade 11/12 Certificate @NQF Level: 3
Experience required:
• Three (3) years appropriate working experience as Traffic Officer

Legal/proffessional requirements
- 6 months National Basic Traffic Diploma
- A valid Code A and CE driver's licence with valid Proffessional Authorisation
- No Criminal record(certificate of conduct not older than 6 months must be attached)
- Registered as per Section 12 of RTTA, Act 22/1999. Examiner of Licences, Traffic Officer, Examiner of Vehicles, Inspector of Driver Licences and Road Transport Inspector
